Course Description:
Preston Tactical Red Dot Handgun Performance Skills and Drills
This 16-hour course will cover how to refine and develop the fundamentals of shooting with a red dot equipped handgun. The focus is developing speed and accuracy under challenging conditions. This is not a entry level course, and is more suited to intermediate/advanced shooters wanting to improve and refine their skills. Over the course of two days we will utilize a variety of drills that will isolate and work to improve foundational skills needed for practical and defensive shooting. This course will help students dial in and refine their skills, and help improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency. We build from simple, but challenging, skill isolation drills to more complex and comprehensive drills during the course. Students can track their progress thought the course and this course will help you develop your “what I need to work on” list.

Note: This class requires a standard degree of physical fitness. The training takes a stair stepped approach and is designed not to exceed the individual students capabilities. Please set your physical training goals accordingly.
Required Equipment:
- Eye and ear protection
- Complete duty/competition rig (Holster, Magazine Pouches) or concealed carry holster. Note: Holsters should not collapse once firearm is drawn.
- Handgun equipped with a red dot sight with a minimum of 3 spare magazines or speed loaders
- 1000-1200 rounds of training ammunition (minimum) bring more if able
- Sight adjustment tools
- Spare batteries
- Note taking materials
- Hydration
- Clothing appropriate for the range and weather conditions
- Recommended to bring a lunch
